I liked it.
That's because you're a sad, contrarian faggot trying to start the same worthless arguments every single day.
That's probably a mental illness or a severe learning difficulty, mate.

>>70306265
Balding man trying to look a decade younger faux hawk.
i don't know how anyone could have possibly unironically enjoyed that episode.
even if you hate top gear
>>70306340
I love Top Gear and I thought it was fine.
I was expecting it to be awful and feel really forced and fake, but it was worse than that, it felt unemotional and boring.
I've seen more emotion and passion in school plays, they could have hired film students and probably got a better show than that shit.
>>70306128
I don't care just watching the first episode of this made me want the old stuff back, currently marathoning 2002 Top Gear from series one.
It's surprisingly low key and comfy with the car buyer's tips. None of this EVERYTHING MUST BE EXCITING business, just three blokes taking potshots at each other and having fun with cars.
>>70306316
Implying any of us will look that good or have that much hair at his age

My family doesn't bald, but yeah I'll probably be an overweight ugly bastard, but I'll not be in a career where I have to struggle to pretend otherwise.

>inb4 butthurt /pol/tards
>drop Evans
>completely shame him in a 10 minute montage of all his behind the scene diva moments crying about not having the largest plate at dinner, or when Joey jokingly sat in his chair
>Get Rory, Chris and Sabine as the main cast. Joey involved when he wants
>Eddie Jordan stop wearing stuff for a bet
Top Gear saved

>completely shame him in a 10 minute montage of all his behind the scene diva moments crying about not having the largest plate at dinner, or when Joey jokingly sat in his chair
Did this stuff actually happen?
>>70306557
No, but he's been a giant screaming bitch, to the point where people hard quit the job because of him.Which is lucky, because they got off the sinking ship before they knew there was a hole.
>>70306557
Im completely guess on the events but I guarantee Evans is temperamental than a toddler
>>70306128
Matt LeBlanc actually was pretty great.
This is their first episode, considering how shit 2002 top gear episode 1 was, they'll eventually grow into their roles.
Though I'd prefer someone else in the role of Evans, he still was really great during the interviews.

What?
Also do we have any word is this is the usual Stig? Or did he walk with CMH as well?
>>70307129
There has never been one Stig.
>>70307170
I know that, I meant is this the same Stig as the one that we've had for the past few series?
The same one that was working with CMH before the steak and fries fracas? Or a new one?
Post your ideal 3 hosts for new Top Gear
>>70307217
Probably the same one. I doubt the new show will involve test laps. It'll just be the Goonies on the Road
>>70306376
What was your favorite bit anon?
>the forced jollity
>the bit where they drove aimlessly around the uk
>the lack of any tension or narrative structure

>the nonexistent of chemistry between the presenters
>the audiences blank faces

steve coogan, rowan atkinson + anyone decent, no idea who.
>>70307252
Alan Partridge (I'd accept Steve Coogan)
Danny Baker
Chris Evans
>>70307310
Rowan, Hugh and Fry
Wait is this the same chris evans who is captain america
>>70307362
No.
This is his Britbong, homosexual cousin.

Danny Baker and Partridge sound great, but I think Coogan already turned them down or so I heard.
I can't see Atkinson taking on a full time job like this, he's already involved with another project https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maigret_%282016_TV_series%29
>>70307361
I think they already tried Fry and he refused, a bit of a shame since he's leaving QI anyway.
>>70307310
Chris Morris, Stewart Lee and Charlie Brooker
I expect it to take a season or two before it gets better, just like the previous Top Gear. So I'll still be watching.
But the first episode wasn't very exciting or funny, and Evans seems like an annoying cunt.
>>70307543
>I think they already tried Fry and he refused
Damn. Though honestly, it's for the best. It feels like a sinking ship and without someone good to work off of Fry, it'd be the same scenario we have now with absolutely no chemistry between the hosts.
>>70307362
Yes. They wanted someone recognisable at the helm.
>>70306436
Implying i'll reach this age
