I watched it a few times back when I was a kid on tv. Don't remember all that much, my favorite scene was the one where the worm crashes through a wall of gun nut couple and they unload a whole arsenal on him.

It was crap. People harp on about Jamie Kennedy being in it, but he was at least a little entertaining. The movie isn't terrible on a technical level, but it's extremely boring.
From what I remember, they found ancient Graboids out in Africa that were progenitors to the ones in Nevada. Burt gets called in to take them out and has Jamie Kennedy tag along as part of a film crew. I guess Burt gets really famous sometime after 3 and has a reality show in the same vein as Crocodile Hunter.
I don't remember much of the movie. It's on Netflix, but like I said, it's really boring to watch.
