The opposite for me though, I like more feline beast from the comics, but at least is faithful to the source material, Beast always tampered with his genes to be more human and sometimes fucks up and other times makes something acceptable.
Kelsey was great but ultimately improperly utilized in the film. If Kelsey had had the right script, I'd say he's the best Beast. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
Meanwhile, Hoult is a good Beast with good scripts, so I'd have to say, overall, Hoult is the better Beast.
