Yes, it's good. It has some questionable moments in it but overall it's a good show. Watch a few episodes and if you like it, keep going.
I liked all of it but especially loved the first three seasons, it'll feel like there's a season or two missing between 4 and 5 though.
I watched it weekly from the premiere and thought the pacing was mostly fine, but a couple of fagolas on this board thought it was too slow or "nothing happened" but you might not have that problem marathoning it.
It's a beautiful show but I can't say that I ever gave a shit about any of the characters in it (I got through 3 seasons). Some of them I just didn't like at all.

Also, a key character will die because he was a shit fucking person on set. Strung out on Heroin making Buscemi do like 20 unnecessary takes. Take that into consideration when you feel someone gets killed off a bit too early.

Contrary to most above opinions, I thought season 4 was a return to the slow burn drama that I enjoyed in season 1. I felt that season 3 was off the rails villain-of-the-season with Rosetti.
Season 4 had concluded the odd relationship between Chalky and Purnsley quite nicely, and added a bittersweet reversal to the hyper positive ending of season 3. Tragedy in all accounts, fantastic ending before season 5's abrupt and rushed plotline.

Harrow was one of the shows best characters, but he was a complete outsider, and killed people in cold blood to survive, he was warped by war and thats all he knew.
Gillian only killed when it was her last resort, but it was in cold blood.

The casting in general was perfect. Though I initially thought Steve Buscemi was an odd choice for the lead, it made sense to me later because Nucky was just a corrupt politician and a coward, I think Buscemi fit right in the role in a way nobody else could.

Yes, watch it. I grew up on Buscemi and he got stale. I finally got around to watching this (always a season behind) and Buscemi is A+. OP you will not be disappointed. I still need to watch the last season.

It felt like a cruel joke that it was only for one more season, and short-order one at that.
At the end of S4 they'd built up an interesting storyline with Rothstein and Margaret, but jumped ahead to way past his death for S5.
Luciano's brokering of alliances and creation of the real Mob could have been it's own several season show, but they had to rush that too.
They should have just spun that off into another show. They could have had their own network mobster universe. Instead they did Vinyl, which I haven't watched but I heard it's in trouble.
The casting for S5 was perfect though. Young Nucky and Young Gillian nailed the mannerisms and diction perfectly.
Every episode's a masterpiece, too bad it didn't found it's audience. I would gladly watch couple of more seasons.
