What the fuck is up with the ending?
10/10 show up until then.
Also best fight I've ever seen in a show.
it was supposed to follow history so they followed what actually happened in the town: not a whole lot besides a few random deaths.
HBO could have picked a fictitious setting and made the ending epic but instead stayed true to history and stroke their own dicks.

Fuck History all that build up for fucking nothing

Loved the show but iirc, it got pretty stale towards the end.
I think it only got announced it wasn't being renewed until like.. the last episode. So they had to kinda wrap things up neatly. Could be wrong but that's how I remember itI don't even remember the ending but maybe it's because it was so unremarkable.

did you just role two trips in a row?
>>70126000
Ending is Hearst and Swearengine stare at each other angrily cut to credits.
Highlight was Dan vs The Captain that shit had me on the edge of my seat literally.
>mfw Trixie didnt get killed

first season was great, then went down hill fast in 2nd and 3rd. The only story line interesting was Al and Sheriff dude.
The actor story line was unwatchable. Al's competition (the upscale brother/casino) was interesting at first but then boring.

anyways, i really liked the show, but i had no idea about it being cut like that in the end, i avoided all spoilers here
shame really

you liked the thespians coming to camp and being all Shakespearean and shit? Or how about the Sheriffs boring as hell guilt marriage?
The Drunk, steve, and burly bowl was only thing good about 2nd and 3rd seasons.

>The actor story line was unwatchable
Agreed.

Relax family.
Man, the death ofWild Bill hit me right in the feels.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3V_hObkTtU

Yeah I fucking hated Skylar but the other stuff going on was more than enough to keep me interested and the thespians were rather minor.
>>70126088
I feel like the story ran thin after season one, so they had to rely on the characters to fall in love with each other to keep anyone interested in the show. At that point the plot was just everyone getting feels about a dead kid and some kidney stones.
>BUH DUH DUH ENDING
Fucking moron pleb shitter.
>Also best fight I've ever seen in a show.
I take you mean Dan vs. the Captain,
absolutely brutal.
We're getting a movie to wrap things up, if it's on s1 form it should be immense.

your post looks like a cunt to me. when i read it i see a cunt flapping
It was canceled due to a contractual fuckup. The cast was contracted for four years instead of four seasons, they only filmed three seasons in that time, most of the cast hated the conditions, locked themselves into work on the opposite side of the planet for the second their deadwood contracts expired (trixie and jane showing up on LOST just as the final deadwood season was airing, for instance) and basically refused to come back for any price. So rather than recast half the characters (including bullock), shit was canned.
Fourth season would've been about hearst sending in pinkertons to disrupt and sabotage deadwood and eventually burn it to the ground.
