Farscape is great, but it's very much it's own thing especially in tone. Tonally it feels like the fifth element mixed with the wacky hijinx episodes of Star Trek but the characters are so damn good you can easily forgive how silly it all is.

Star Trek has 29 seasons' worth of content. More if you count the movies and TAS. Stargate has 17. However, a lot of Star Trek is garbage, whereas only about a quarter of Stargate is garbage. I would suggest watching seasons 3-7 of TNG, 1-9 of DS9, and if you enjoyed those, seasons 1-2 of TOS. When Star Trek is good, it's much better than anything else in space opera. Avoid VOY and especially ENT at all costs.
