Have you ever had that sad realization later in life when you realize you had more in common with Squidward than Spongebob as you originally assumed as a kid?
I had now
Childhood is when you idolize Spongebob
Adulthood is when you realize Squidward makes more sense

My realisation was that SpongeBob and a lot of cartoon at that time were sometimes very dark and adult in its humour.
I don't really feel like there are any cartoons like that anymore and I think we're worse off because of it.

I've never assumed I had much in common with Spongebob since he was always depicted as a complete guillable retard.

>There are people programming robots right fucking now
>There are people doing story boards for capekino right fucking now
>There are animators making monsters right fucking now
>There are artists drafting assets for the next Godzilla movie right fucking now
>There is a dude growing a beard right fucking now
I realize, every day, that I missed out on so much opportunity because I chose a life free of any meaningful risk.
