I absolutely loved the way the editing built this insurmountable tension. I was very impressed by the filmmaking. There were some very thoughtful shots also. The film never "made fun" of the characters.

Yes it's just a really well made film. Nothing was rushed and you really got to like the characters. The fucking location was also amazing. A real abandoned mental hospital. It's since been turned into a condo sadly. I also really liked how they shot in digital. Reminds me of inland empire.
