Presidential elections are gimmies in terms of political humor. Plenty of low hanging fruit. He retired just before it so the next guy would have a year with the training wheels on to get into the swing of things.

Jon had about a week or two left as the show's host when Trump announced his campaign. That sort of disappointed me, knowing that out of every liberal late night figurehead who would talk trash about Trump, he would've probably sucked the least. That's not saying much, but still.
