Sadly, I just watched this part. Ben is encouraged by Dr. Jacoby to relive the Civil War and rewrite history so the South wins. This is supposed to allow Ben to overcome his seemingly insurmountable problems and triumph over them. BUT man, it takes WAY too long, and Jacoby and Ben spend a lot of time waving Confederate flags and cheering on the South... no way today's studios would let this happen for political reasons. And it never should have been allowed to begin with as it is very boring.
