I met the goat at the grocery store but he was kind of a jerk when I asked for his autograph

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Mercy sir, have yee coin fer' it?” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the blocks and started tallying it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to tally them each individually “to ensure thy felt each a intefference,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she tallied each block and put them in a burlap sack and started to say the price, his girls kept interrupting by shrieking really loudly.

i really enjoyed how straight up the film was about supernatural shit being real
i mean, sure, they were all being paranoid and fucking each other up because of the supernatural events and it's all that human drama, but as well as that there's an actual fucking witch who sacrifices babies and fucks with everyone for shits and giggles and the main character isn't just insane after all, it's about a god damn witch.

Even without corn-halucinations, all the attempts at ambiguity go out the window when you realize there were no instances of multiple-witnesses to anything. The only time anything "weird" happened in view of more than one person (or any person) was the scene where caleb was dying. And those kids were such massive shitheads because the only time they ever got attention is when they were being massive shitheads.

Problem being though, shes alone in the scene. Shes hallucinating/dreaming her children being back, but is still sufficiently cognizant of her children actually being dead, which shifts the hallucination/dream to something more in-line with "witchcraft."
A pretty common part of the grieving process is having dreams where whoever/whatever has died has come back, but they always have that shift where you suddenly remember that can't be, so the dream shifts around that realization.

I don't know man. Demonic involvement would imply some pretty weak demons if they can't actually do anything to more than one person at a time. Fungal hallucinations work a little better, but hysteria is the best fit, as all the characters are essentially terrified of everything at all times before anything "strange" starts happening, and all they have to deal with anything are heads filled with even more horror than could possibly be present.
