honestly hawkeye has quickly become my favorite member of the avengers. maybe it is because he is really the only relatable and human character. everyone else has an ego or is a symbol for some kind of ideological view point but he just shows up and gets on with his job. he doesn't carry any extra bullshit or go on and on about muh family. even black widow is always talking about her "dark past" and whatever. plus his vulnerability actually makes me care about the character in action scenes rather than just oh his super suit or superpowers will keep him safe, he'll be fine no matter what.
A Hawkeye/Widow would be such a good film for both characters. Both characters are deserving of a film now. Hawkeye has been in 4 movies and Black Widow has been 5.
I don't think I could stand a black widow solo movie. she has no character other than muh past and wanting hulk benis. plus i am just tired of seeing her be a "badass" and take down a bunch of highly trained and massive operators with single punches. hawkeye however has a ton of room to develop his character more.
