Anon is correct it's mostly nonsense, however the major theme is a huge fear of having a child, and the distress of a parent who can only see his child as a monster rather than loving him like most parents do

Why would Lynch "troll" people? Why would a director like him make a lolsorandum movie? Why would he waste all his time and effort just to do whatever?
The only reason why would one do that is to get exposure because more people are talking how it is nonsense. But Lynch doesn't care about exposure or money, for gods sake he turned down George fucking Lucas to direct Return Of The Jedi, if he just wanted money and exposure he would grab those millions in an instant.
It happens everytime, someone doesn't understand the concept or didn't experience the movie so he blames the work for being bad just so he could feel better about himself.
