Watched it twice desu senpai
I thought it had a cool aesthetic and I enjoyed the heroic unity theme thing it had going
i was amazed by the great visuals the first time i watched pacific rim.
when i re-watched it with my mother, i almost fell asleep because the dialog was dogshit and the plot was generic.
anything by nolan and zack snyder

>>69807500
I was so caught up in the intensity of Gwen Stacy's death scene that I thought the movie was great. Since then I've read so much about it and the flaws in it that i'm afraid to watch it a second time.

John Carpenter's
watched it once while I was high, not bad.
try watching Gravity on a television. It's complete dogshit
>>69807896
what the fuck else would you watch a movie on?
>>69807966
have you heard about these things called movie theaters?
Saw it first with my girlfriend in a packed theater and had a blast.
Saw it the second time with my mother in an almost empty theater and rolled my eyes at almost every joke.
I guess it was just the crowd energy that made it enjoyable the first time.

It was a great 15 seconds whether you understand it or not. From her falling to the crack of her head it's pretty great.
>>69807500
I will take literally any movie with giant robots, no matter how bad.
>It's a "waaaaaah I don't like the thing" shit posting thread.
>>69809006
Felt the same about the Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises, except I only thought the first was 'great', Rises was just alright and was laughable the second time.
Batman Begins, however, I thought was average the first time and just keeps getting better.
>>69809162
begins and the prestige get better
every other nolan work gets worse and many of them badly so and for the same reasons; lucas-tier dialogue, shit third acts, overambition, blown potential, etc etc

>mfw no alternate reality WW2 mech film done by PR CG team
