This was pretty disappointing.

The Magneto/Xavier stuff was good, albeit repetetive.
The movie just really failed to deliver scope. It really felt like the action scenes were on a sound stage somewhere and not in a real world. They tried to cover it up with really bland, pointless CGI as well.
Quicksilver was the closest thing this movie had to a saving grace. All of the actions setpieces fell flat aside from Wolverine's massacre of the Weapon X facility fodder.

Honestly 80% of the movie must be CGI, they literally spend 5 minutes showing the world being torn apart by Magneto, 5 minutes showing nukes flying into the sky, 5 minutes showing dust fly around. Its like the script had gaps in it so they filled it in with sub-par CGI.
