What's wrong with this show exactly? Recently i seen a lot of people talking shit about that on internet, so I watched that entirely and that was...pretty good.
most of the bad reviews are complains because the characters are assholes, mean with each others and because this is not PC and very edgy....but actually the show was made to be like that, it's not drama, it's comedy, I understand if people find that unfunny but not the complains about stuff the show make on purpose, the most autistic are probably the ones who takes every gags seriously with a dramatic point of view, like if that was important for a supposed continuity and character developpment, this people know they are watching a trash parody?
concerning the movie, for me that was just OKAY, not great but just okay, the animation was crappy with flash because Comedy Central gives a low-budget for that, this was a direct-to-video not made to be a masterpiece anyway.
the only boring moments on the show for me are some A/B plots, like this one about Captain Hero and Spanky on the casino, or Captain Hero and the "cool kids" on the mexican episode but even that was very far from the huge bland quality of current Family Guy.
It's funny. Sometimes too immature and crass, but often witty enough to make up for it.
I liked it but it really was edgy for the sake of being edgy

One of my favourite shows when it was airing. It was cancelled because it threatened South Park. They made fun of it in their movie.

Its not bad but it's not very good either. Mainly it's just really fucking dumb low brow humor, this came out when I was maybe 12 and even at that age I remember thinking it was really stupid.
I don't hate South Park, but I've never watched much of it. Drawn Together was amazing to me and I loved it.
like most animated shows the first season was merely alright, probably because they kept doing the whole "reality tv show" shtick a lot
season 2 was the best cus now they started getting more creative with the plots

well that could be one reason but in this case it's the fault of the network not south park (every animated shows on comedy central finish to be cancelled at season 3 everytimes), that was also because the production for episode was very long (the second half of the season 3 came after one year) and the animation was very expensive, also the FCC dislike edgy shows like this, the creators themselves didn't know their show was cancelled during the season 3, they made a joke about that in the movie.

The VAs as well. A lot of the VAs are the guys you hear in every kids cartoon ever so they had a lot of fun saying edgy offensive jokes like "He has more arms than the wackiest God in all of India"

Good show
Despite the crudity this was one of the mos quick witted and consistently funny shows on television.
Its only flaw was that it was taken before its time.
