There was a time when capeshit was coming out with terrible movies for a long time (apart from superman), until it actually became a thing like it is today. Video game movies have been terrible up to now, granted. But like it was for comic-book movies and many other genres, there's always a first.
And the difference with this movie is it was handled differently than any other video game adaptation. They took their time to get it right, and it eventually landed onto a director who wanted to direct it badly because he was a true fan and he has a good track record to back it up. It's a passion project with a tent-pole budget, literally the best you can hope for, for a movie like this. So I think it'll be the first good video game movie.

Most of my friends are hype as shit to see it and are normies so there. It's not like the film should get pushed back AGAIN for the third time because it's going up against Tmnt 2 and Finding Boring. It's gotta come out eventually and June is as good as anything as far as movies go.
Blizzard already bought their own movie studio so they're going to start pumping out movies on their franchises no matter how much money Warcraft makes. They're also making more Warcraft theme parks in the US aside from the one they have in China so get ready for the age of vidya
