Yeah. The Caleb thing made no sense. No explanation of how he could have faked his DNA in the car or play up the charade in the first place. This season wasn't really that great. The last one had a good one with them all together at the ceremony. And it was Marlowe's last season involved too, who seems to be unhappy with the way this season turned out. Even suggesting he might continue the stories in books possibly leaving this season out of canon.

Yeah. The high tech ones were kind of weird. But the supernatural/magic ones that left it ambiguous in the end as to if it was real were annoying. I mean it worked in the earlier seasons with the psychic and stuff, but the time travel, genie, and parallel universe stuff was too much. But I guess you could rationalize them all as never having happened from the way they left it. Still it was annoying.

As I understand it, they had two endings planned, because they weren't sure if there was gonna be a new season, but they knew Stana Katic and the black chick weren't coming back. So there was one that was a cliffhanger (presumably the shooting with Stana dying) and one that wasn't, which is what we got, I guess.I liked it.

One of the things I loved about the show was the unique formula. The murderer almost always appears in the episode and it's fun to try to piece together who it is before they do.

The thing is, when you get a large amount of people talking about something, SOMEONE'S going to point it out. It really seems like the whole episode was written with that twist in mind. I would guess that if they'd been renewed, Caleb would have taken one or two bullets but staggered out of there and next season would be Castle goingNUCLEARto get revenge on him.

So what do I watch now? Castle was the only show still airing from the first batch of shows I started to watch regularly. It feels like I've lost the last out of a group of old friends. It wasn't the best show but I always like winding down with it after the darker ones I watched.

It's not one of the shows that has the cops or whoever doing everything, is it? I don't mind police procedurals but it bothers me when the cops do everything. It's why I hate CSI. You get cops doing forensics and forensics guys doing cop shit. One thing I liked about Castle was that the cops did cop shit and the forensics was done offscreen by people who were paid to do it, not by the goddamn cops.

The Five-0 cops are kind of special cops with immunity, but they work with uniforms, medical examiners, SWAT, and tech people. So yeah, not as grounded as the cops in Castle, but still good for what it is.

Basically in like season 7 they got married. Somewhere in there they arrested the guy who masterminded her mom's death and she got promoted to captain. They found out he had a partner who was ex-CIA and Castle went missing to foil a terrorist plot for like 6 months. That partner was a character introduced in one episode this season. They beat him up and arrested him, then his lawyer ambushed them in their apartment, shot each of them, and was killed. Seven years later they're still together with three kids.

Well basically beckett's mom caught on to some crooked cops, and the ringleader of those cops had beckett's mom killed. He became a senator and was still corrupt, making phat cash from drug smuggling. He ends up getting jailed and then a NEW and BIGGER bad guy shows up and is a CIA officer that enabled the senator's drug running.
Bigger badder tries to kill them in the finale and the heroes win! But then a side character who had no reason to be alive comes and shoots Castle and Beckett in Castle's home and they're laying there dyingand then in the span of 30 seconds we get to see them 7 years later and they have 3 kids and everything is GOOD.
