The term you're looking for is "kids movies with adult themes" cause besides manchildren, the toys that came out of the ghostbusters franchise was aimed at 10-12 and younger age.

"Shifted" in my second post, and not an inch budged since. Stop trying to blow shit out of proportion. And it's not an arbitrary decision any more than any such decision, including yours, is arbitrary. The main, or core, elements of the movie are for kids, and I've explain which elements those are. I've acknowledged the adult elements and that it makes family and kid movies different in some aspects, again from the second post onwards, and argued, quite well or at least not with particularly convincing arguments against it, that the difference is superficial, and for the sake of selling tickets.
