Totally agree with this. The way Dayne fought 4 people was done well, so many fucking times when its 1 v 4 or 1 v 10 it's just "1 guy attacks, and when he's finished the next guy tries".
In this they actually surrounded him and tried to all hit him at once, like any smart person would do. Then Dayne was so fucking good with his swords it didn't help, and he used his own intelligence to get out of the circle and have them all attack from the same side.

there is a line one must draw between realism and entertainment, if you actually choreographed it like a real sword fight it'd be less entertaining, but if you make it a gymnastics routine dance battle it'll turn people off. They should have made it one sword, because dual wielding long swords is absurd, since it's cumbersome and leaves many openings. It would have been better with one sword and him fighting tactically, say, not getting in the middle of 4 men, making his body a smaller target, positioning enemies in front of one another.

Dawn would have been used to swing someones leg in half, cave a skull in with the pommel, then the rest would be tackle figthing and the sword becomes an awkward metal stick used to try and break through neds thin armor
