I wouldn't doubt the possibility of Wakandan vibranium playing some larger role in the cosmic scheme of things. But the statue looks more like it's chiseled out of black stone. And In the comics at least, the Wakandan vibranium came to them from an meteorite long ago.

They also said that Zemo was somehow able to do all the things he did, despite just being some guy, when the movie explained when Stark found out about the dead psychologist, that Zemo had advanced military training. I don't think they really paid attention.
