Just finished watching the Finale. I have a lot of mixed feelings about it. Certain characters like Cary could've done with a more personal send off. But damn did it hit all the right emotional beats with Diane, Will and Peter. Perhaps the most depressing or infuriating part of it was how it ended on a down note, because after 7 season all we really wanted was to see Alicia triumph, but that just wasn't the Good Wife's way.

Ultimately, Seasons 1-5 were some of the best drama ever created for Television, and whilst 6-7 did see a fall from grace, it was still leagues and leagues above most of it's distinguished competition. I will definitely miss the Good Wife
