I've watched that Daredevil movie twice. The script was horrible, the music was horrible, the story was imminently forgettable. Michael Clark Duncan, God rest his soul, was a great choice for Kingpin, but the script was so bland and forgettable that I can't recall one line of his or anyone else's dialogue.
I never once felt compelled to re-watch it for plot points that I suspected I'd missed or to look for hidden motivations in the characters themselves, and the only image from the film that stuck with me for any length of time was Matt catching the baseball, which was only memorable for being stupid and wrong.
I've watched BvS 4 times now and catch something new every time.

In my opinion, that was a smart move, because while it worked well in comics form, people might not have been as ready to swallow a movie where heroes are both ridiculous and ineffectual and still capable of orchestrating Veidt's plan.
