It really is a problem with yify specifically, isn't it? Usually I don't have OPs problem but with yify shit it's a constant struggle to keep dialogue audible while not blowing my eardrums out whenever something happens.

This is why I have subtitles on pretty much all the time.
Its worse when you watch it on TV. They turn the audio on the movie down and the commercials get knoced up to 11.

i remember reading that they are actually allowed to be quite loud, to an extent. If they seem over the top loud you can report them to the watchdog or whatever the fuck its called. But same here, i just mute them out of spite. If they were reasonable in volume i wouldn't so their loss.
