No. Trigger is in single action position.

It is cocked. When the trigger is pulled, it releases a notch that's holding the hammer there. Hammer is spring loaded. It moves forward (falls) and strikes the primer on the back of the bullet. Gun goes bang.

He said, like an idiot. The trigger moves farther out when the hammer is down. If the gun is double action, the trigger can both cock and release the hammer, the majority of the trigger's pull, or distance, is to cock the hammer. If you manually do that, the trigger only needs a small "tap" essentially to drop the hammer.

There's nothing wrong with how the gun looks there, when you pull back the hammer the trigger does too, so that you need only a light pull to actually shoot. If you try to pull a revolver's trigger without pulling down the hammer you'll take much longer and ti requires much more pressure.

It's a DA/SA revolver. It can work as double action or single action. If you cock the hammer manually with your thumb, the trigger moves back and you get a very short and light single action trigger pull. This helps with accuracy but it's dangerous to carry like that.
In double action mode, the trigger is further forward, the travel is long and heavier.
Somtimes, you don't even need to use your thumb... it's actually possible to slowly pull the trigger from double action back right until it almost releases and then let up pressure. There should be a very slight click and you are now in single action mode.
Learn to guns, faggots.
DA/SA revolvers are the most common modern revolver design.
The only people that use single action only are cowboy shooters.
