So the rights dispute surround the TV adaptation for the Wheel of Time has been resolved, and there's a good possibility that it will go into pre-production within the next year or so.

I could imagine first couple of seasons being decent adaptations. But after that you have way too many characters, simultaneous events, points of view and locations to be able to do things right. Never mind the difficulty of properly displaying the magic and the large battles on TV budget.
