We talk capeshit every day but not spend that time talking about Kubrick?
What is wrong with you /tv/?

Just wait until we are delivered unto /film/
Hiro is working day and night to provide us with the patrician refuge we need in these dire times
>BABBY'S FIRST FILM DIRECTOR
How's that highschool "film class" treating you? Did you watch 2001 yet?
>>68915206
with the kinds of posts around this board right now, we're lucky to have a kubrick thread
>>68915167
/film/ is dead, anon.
>>68915206
What directors would you rather discuss, anon?
>>68915206
Have you even seen Barry Lyndon you pleb?
>>68915206
Watch this you faggot

>>68915206
The fact that he is the most entry level director out there doesn't take anything away from his work.
>>68915252
/film/ isnt dead retard it was never born in the first place.
it was taken down because it was discovered before it was supposed to be.
>>68915206
>implying Kubrick isn't a better director than most of the directors you could name
>implying entry level is bad
>>68914993
>guys, i swear kubrick is a perfectionist genius filmmaker!
>>/kino/there is no unironic 'kino'
What's his finest? Barry Lydon orThe Killing?

There's no wrong answerbut Clockwork is better
Eyes Wide Shut
He showed the Illuminati performing the pre rituals to ensure the 9/11 mass death ritual was successful
America to dumb to notice
Kubrick killed for it
9/11 happens with out a hitch

Patrician taste, anon.

>What is wrong with /tv/?
Honestly, you might criticize /mu/ for having some "hipster" tendencies and being somehow elitistic, but at least you can properly discuss music over there; the same is true for /lit/.
I /film/ ever becomes a thing, I desperately want it to be like that. There was a Terrence Malick thread the other day and it died in about six post, while capeshit threads filled with shitposting and memes last for days.I just want to talk about cinema ;-;
>>68914993
why would we discuss a pretentious hack?
Kids don't even know who that is. And I can assure it's kids on /tv/ making capeshit threads alongside shills.
>you will never watch Kubrick's AI
>you will never watch Kubrick's Napoleon movie
>>68916229
I honestly feel like it would be a very slow board, sure some people would leave the capeshit threads and visit every once in a while to shitpost or try to be part of the discussion but for the most part it would be 100 people split between a bunch of threads that go for hours at a time with no new posts.
>>68916382
Even if it becomes /ic/: Motion Photography Edition, I'll be happy. /tv/ is just awful for discussing films, yet I still come here like a meth addict almost every day.
>>68916382
Nothing wrong with a slow board.
>>68915789
Don't you sheeple faggots act like you didn't read this
>>68914993
they're all shills
>>68915206
>impossible to be right the first time
Your lack of self-confidence confirms your lack of skill.
I always laugh when people act like their so sophisticated for watching Kubrick movies.
>>68915715
Lmao no, every movie listed was better than ACO, as is Eyes Wide Shut
>>68916459
Me too, 3x3 threads are about the only place I actually get recs, and very rarely do other threads spur actual discussion. Yet here I am. I bet I spend at least 1.5 hours a day every day on /tv/
Or you can try r/movies instead. They love Kubrick.

>liking a Clockwork fuckign Orange
>patrician taste
LITERALLY go back to /r/film you top tier pleb
