germany makes high quality dubs for almost every american, and the good british TV shows so this is what homebrewed tv productions have to compete with and they don't stand a chance.
nobody here wants to risk spending a lot on something that will fail so most shows have a small budget and end up mediocre.

Dubs are always shit tier.
It's highly cringeworthy its always the same 3 voices and it stresses me out that some words they dont bother translating so it "fits the lip synch better". I get it as a kid i enjoyed the synchros but why do that to every single movie that comes out and then in the nice big cinemas only project those movies. I know some people here dont have that great english but literally even hauptschuler know how to read, movies for people over the ages of freaking 13 should come out at the same time as the internatinal release and with subtitles. I'm tired to going to the hipster small ass cinema with the movies in the original language. And my friend who lives in a smaller city tells me they dont even have that kind of cinemas over there.
