Is this good?
>>
Come on has anyone seen it?
>>
Fucking terrifying and bizarre.
>>
>>68847898
do you mean the tv show or inland empire?
>>
If you like that sort of thing yes. Both Rabbits and Inland Empire are enjoyable. If you don't like ambiguous surrealism, no.
>>
>>68848610
The movie named Rabbits.

>>68848646
I've watched Lost Highway and enjoyed it very much.
>>
>>68847898
I love symbolism/surrealism puzzles so yeah, I think it's good in that genre. Inland Empire is better though.
>>
>>68848662
It's more niche then Lost Highway. You have to really be into this type of shit to enjoy it. Inland Empire as well. If you can be, nothing beats the Lynch universe and it's atmosphere.
>>
>>68848725
So it's like really weird shit or something? Because Lost Highway's already pretty weird to me lmao.

Also I really digged Twin Peaks finale, is Rabbits similar in tone?
>>
I watched it. It was odd to say the least. I didn't understand it one bit, but yeah, I watched it.
It was relaxing.
>>
>>68847898
Yes. It actually makes total sense if you put the pieces together.

It has a lot to do with ambient sound and with the order of the phrases.
>>
>>68848761
It's cryptic as fuck and really challenges you do decipher it. I'd say it's Lynch's hardest film to figure out other than Inland.

Rabbits is reserved and simple but cryptic

Inland Empire there's a ton of shit/symbolism and clues going on so that's what makes in hard. Plus the non-linear narritave adds to it.

If you haven't seen Mulholland Drive yet I'd say watch that first. it's more like Lost Highway.
>>
>>68848929
Oh okay thank you, I will watch Mulholland Drive next.

So far I've watched Lynch films in this order: Elephant Man -> Blue Velvet -> The Straight Story -> Twin Peaks series -> Lost Highway. Trying to go from the simplest ones to the weirdest ones gradually.
>>
>>68847898
Has the best atmosphere I've ever seen in anything. Never been so unsettled and intrigues by something as simple as atmosphere alone. I wish horror directors would learn from Lynch, but it looks like they never will.
>>
>>68848976
I'd say that's a good way to get into it. I'd go Mulholland Drive -> Eraserhead -> Rabbits -> Inland Empire

Inland Empire utilizes footage from Rabbits, so you might want to watch Rabbits first, but you don't really have to.
>>
>>68848761
Yeah, Rabbits is kind of similar to Twin Peaks finale, but with a darker and more detached atmosphere/style.

It's one of Lynch's more reddit movies. I like the guy, and he's done some pretty fucking good stuff but seeing the repugnant manchildren circlejerking and validating their egos around his film makes me want to puke on their faces and bash their fedoras and brains out with my keyboard. They like his movies because they find it "weird" and crazy and surreal, enticing in the most superficial way possible.

A movie like Inland Empire is self parody, pornographic fan-service for videogame consoles and its no surprising he stopped making movies after that. As a lover of the medium he realized that its better retiring than losing integrity.
>>
>>68849346
It's okay, brainlet, no need to be upset.
>>
Only seen Mulholland Drive of Lynch's but the screenshot in the OP looked pretty neat so I'm interested.

I can't see any decent quality torrents on my shitty public trackers, is there a HD version anywya?
>>
boring and pointless as fuck

dont waste your time. the idea that its creepy or unsettling is simply laughable. those people got brain problems and are probably scared of their own shadows.
