Where I can buy movies in New York? I mean aside from the typical blockbusters, I mean stuff like criterionc collection, foreing movies and thigs like that.

New York is pretty big, if you mean NYC, I only know of two shops left open. Don't remember the names but one was a weird asian place that had a shit ton of great rare stuff cheap and a rental place with a crappy BIN section.

Amazon.

You're better off buying your stuff online. You're unlikely to get better prices at stores.

Check out the new Alamo Drafthouse when it opens. The one in SF has a ton of regular and criterion dvds and bluray.

Yes, I mean NYC, should have clarified.

But I like going to stores and find obscure stuff there, it's part of the magic

Thanks

They sell Criterions in any HMV. I've even seen some in Best Buy

Do you not have those stores in NY?
>>

HVM isn't in new york I think
>>

Damn, I assumed HMV was more common, but there's only 125 locations worldwide. There's been one in every city or town I've lived in.

Anyway, like I said, it's not uncommon to find them in places like Best Buy or wherever else you'd expect to find retail blu-rays. If you needed to, libraries tend to have a lot of them as well.

Movie rights are expensive. Are you a millionaire?

Thanks, I will take a look on best buy and some libraries then, maybe that Japanese one, kinokuniya I think, has some interesting things.
