Will 90's Spiderman ever be surpassed?

Is a black man surpassing a yellow man in this image?
"You're in for a real shock!!"
What did he mean by this?

The overuse of looping backgrounds and the jarring mixture of animation + computer animation was always tasteless. It was however largely fucking awesome with great long story arcs.
90s x-men is also one of my favorites as is BTAS of course

That shit was nightmare fuel as a kid

Yes, Fantastic Four from around the same time and Spectacular Spider-Man are significantly better. I didn't even like this as a kid because it was really boring, as an adult the writing is just awful and each episode feels like another ten minutes is missing entirely. The pacing is insane.

> Batman
> Spider-man
> X-Men
Being a kid in the 90s and running in to Fox was the best.

Black Cat was probably a key figure that planted the seeds of my tastes in women.
I didn't understand why I liked her at the time but I know I did.

It never surpassed Japanese Supaidaman.
Spider-Man: The New Animated Series was pretty decent for CG of the era.

Man I miss Mainframe Entertainment

How does it compare to btas, beyond, etc?
Is it worth watching as an adult/manchild?
>>68824182
I just rewatched this for the first time in a while and it's honestly great. The only bad thing about it is its a little overdramatic with the speeches characters give each other.

90's Spiderman is so "edgy" it hurts. Mcfarlane's Spiderman is almost entirely responsible for that whole trend in the 90's that completely took over everything.
