Up until 7 they all almost had the same plot. My personal favorite is Slippery Slope mostly just because of the intrigue.

It's good if you like the music of the Magnetic Fields. It's not like a kids album or anything. Dreary, Dreary and Smile, No One Cares How You Feel are good tracks to get a vibe of the album.

- Plot was completely twisted around compared to the books, made it objectively worse.
- Removed glasses from Klaus for literally no reason.
- Casting was pretty good though.

It really does work better as a TV show, the early books aren't long enough to warrant a movie for each and when you compact that down it allows less time for character set-up. Hopefully they do this one right.

I did. They're still enjoyable but in a different way. Like there are a lot of nods to the reader I hadn't noticed before.
They are surprisingly short though. The second book is fucking nothing. I don't remember them being that short
