I really can't find a flaw with CR, no matter how hard I try
>>
>>68806979

You're right OP, it's at least the best movie of the series.

It might not be the best "bond movie" if you need more of need a more traditional bond.

It also has the best theme

What constitutes a Bond film?
>inb4 silly wacky shit
Seeing as Casino Royale is closer to the books than all other films, I could argue that Casino Royale is the MOST Bond film and that Goldfinger is just a mess
>>
>>68806979
We all agree. Is this the end of /tv/?
>>
My only problems with it were that it was open-ended, because it was a set up for this Craig Bond tetralogy and that was weird for a Bond film, and that it struggled to find a good ending point. The main meat of the movie is really, really good, but then Le Chiffre getting offed by a mystery man was really unsatisfying. Then there's what seems a natural end to the movie where Bond opens up to the Bond girl and there seems to be a genuine connection.

But then it keeps going. And we have this limping twist about her being a traitor but not really because she genuinely loved Bond. And then it keeps going for another five minutes for no reason.
>>
>>68808521
kinda true. I still don't understand the plot completely, but it's not that bad. The worst thing you can say about CR plot is that it lead to those stupid plots in the next movies.

BTW, I still don't know who's the guy in white in Venice, the one that Bond kills shooting a bolt in the eye. Am I supposed to know him from before?

Yes they are, in the Craig films Bond is an angry brute without an ounce of wit or charm in his entire body. All of them, except maybe Spectre, copy the aesthetic and mood of the Bourne films and other grimdark spy thriller that have been popular in recent years

Quantum of Solace is just far more obvious because of the way it's shot and edited

In your opinion, yes. However when you say "dogshit" , it carries with it the implicit suggestion that that's the generally agreed upon opinion. It's actually a very small minority. If you say "Its shit" and then get shown that according to most people it doesn't, you can continue to say "It's Dogshit" like it's a fact, simply because it's what you believe, and that's literally true. But don't expect the rest of the world to hold any stock by that.
