It's decent, but arguably the Coen's weakest film after Lady Killers. Hard to recommend to be honest, but if you like the Coen's or like films about the 1950s hollywood scene, then it won't hurt to give it a go.
If I had to give it a rating, i'd say it's a solid 5/10.

It's not nearly as insightful as Baraka, but it looks really pretty. If you're more into film as a visually expressive medium than as one based around strict narratives, then yes. If you need dialogue, then no.
