It was good. I enjoyed it and the room seemed pretty positive. The whole CGI/humans thing catches you off at first. But as the movie progresses your mind grows accustomed to it and you forget about it completely by the end.
If I had to say anything about the movie its that it's a lot more humble than I thought. There's only one big fight and it's at the end. Most of the movie is characters talking in rooms, then characters talking outside, then a little skirmish happens. It's very character driven. The dialogue is generally way better than the trailers show. They seemed to cut the cheesiest lines and put them in the trailers, which is weird. There are a few good jokes that everyone giggled at but the movie is pretty serious otherwise.
Seriously though, if you forget that the orcs are CGI, the film for the most part could be a small indie project. Which I kind of like. Hopefully the sequel will pick up the scale though since the Second War had a lot more large scale battles.
