Is the real life mafia more like The Godfather, or Goodfellas?
>>
The mafia is a made-up institution created specifically to sell movie tickets.
>>
first Godfather is the ultimate film, I love it so much. it might be my favourite film ever.

Godfather II, not so much. I didn't like the move from NYC -> Las Vegas. Although it happened in the first Godfather, the majority of the scenes in Godfather II were in Las Vegas.

never seen

what is /tv/'s opinions on the godfather trilogy? what's your favourite scene from the series? mine would be:

>Michael kills Sollozzo and McKluskey
>Michael in Sicily (reminds me of my time in Italy)
>Flash back scene at the end of Godfather II

The Sky series? I've been looking for a stream of that with English subs. My Italian is pretty good, but Neapolitan dialect is different.

not OP, but Goodfellas actually depicts the NY mafia scene across about 30 years.

>Goodfellas: 1950s - 1980s
>Godfather: Late 1940s - 1980s.

what did Michael do in WWII to become a hero?
>>
Organized crime doesnt exist

It's made up by the media so you wouldn't be as judgemental of ghetto violence

He cooked a mean spaghetti once

>there are people who actually believe this

Eh, they probably know what's good for em.

>damn it feels good to be 11 years old

In the first Godfather when Michael goes to Las Vegas there is a couple walking by in clearly 70s clothing and holding a camera, which clearly didnt exist in the 50s. What was up with that? They never address it ever again in the film.

Godfather didn't actually happen, it's all a fever dream Michael is having in a hospital bed dying of spoiled meatballs in the 70s

This. I know a jewish contraption when I see one.

more like goodfellas and sopranos minus all the drama imo.

be wary of associating with any well off ginzos who claim to work in construction (they do work in construction and land development, but it's not what you think)
