how long until this will leak after it gets released on-demand this Friday? I'd pay to stream it but my internet is shit.
>>68739716

>>68739813

Either Friday or the day before. Releases are very reliable.
>>68741242
Thanks for the info man
Have you seen it yet?
>>68739716
I watch this in the cinema few months ago cause I'm Brit thought it was pretty shit.
>>68741291
Not yet, I'll be downloading it with the rest of you.
>>68741315
Wheatley is overrated as fuck. He has never made a good movie.
>>68741362
Never saw his other movies but this one was boring, plot didn't make sense and none of the characters were interesting.
Also seemed a bit up its own arse.
I heard it's based on some book, never read it but I'm sure he fucked the story up.
To be fair it did look kinda nice but all movies do these days.
>>68739716
The local theaters here don't get any limited-release or international movies, I'll probably need to find it online eventually; like I had to do with Macbeth.
Looks like horrible hipster shit.
>>68741483
I'm guessing I'll love it because I love the book it's based on and because Wheatley's Kill List is great.
What do you mean when you say the plot didn't make any sense?
>>68741542
>movie based on a masterpiece of literature by one of England's great 20th C writers
>hipster shit
I'm so happy to be a hipster then
>>68741577
It's told poorly so I can barely follow it but the main thing I didn't understand was the main conflict of the film about how the apartment complex turns all chaotic, there's literally no reason why it happens in one scene everything is normal and the next scene everyone is killing and raping everyone for no reason.
>>68741362
BOO THIS MAN!
>>68741771
Jesus Christ, pay more attention when you watch movies, this is embarrassing.
>>68741828
Alright please explain why they suddenly started raping and killing everyone.
>>68741771
The residents are so used to everything being taken care of for them, they've forgot how to do anything and reverted back to cave-men.
A little disorder seeded a total collapse.
>>68741869
Because everything was provided in the high-rise, the residents became isolated and reverted to a primitive social order. It happened over a period of time, which was (maybe not super effectively) covered in a montage.
>>68739716
Anyone who hates Snowpiercer won't like this it's pretty much the same thing just more boring and incoherent and if you did like Snowpiercer I guess you might like it, but I mean I didn't like High Rise.
>>68741997
>>68742090
Wait what changed exactly everything seemed to be exactly the same.
>calls an official release a "leak"
...stop
but to answer your question it'll be online instantly
>>68742090
What pretentious drivel, the film didn't show anything like this at all, it was just everything is pretty normal in one scene then they have rape parties in the next
>>68741362
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
>>68742301
I'm guessing you guys are dumb as fuck.
I haven't seen the movie but the guy's description of the film matches exactly with what the book is about. The book also shows the high rise devolving pretty quickly into rape and violence. It doesn't give explicit reasons as to why this is occurring because the author expects his readers to have the intelligence to infer that the technologically advanced building is leading people down a dangerous path into becoming infantile.
Not all art is going to hold your hand. Grow up.
>>68742163
I haven't seen the movie yet; but it's little things like power-outages, and the trash not being taken out on time.
>>68742554
That's the stupidest fucking thing I've ever heard.
>>68742699
Why?
>>68742301
I've never read the book, this is all information I got from watching the film. Maybe you're just kind of stupid.
>>68742699
