Well, I mean, watching a Snyder film is essentially like watching The Dante Quartet or Mothlight. Lots of flashes and explosions of color - though in Snyders case they're extremely desaturated which is probably an artistic thing - with no rhyme or reason behind it.
I could definetly see his films being kino, but I wouldn't use it in a positive sense.
