Jurassic Park

>>68681715
We dont have a govt. or right wing groups lel
>>68681715
There isn't even a current government but the two main parties are centre right.
There are no far-right groups in Ireland. The anti-immigration right wing parties are non-existent. Bear in mind our dominant parties aren't necessarily pro-immigration, they just bend to the will of Brussels too easily so they will begrudgingly accept enrichment.
I think it is inevitable desu. The UK won't support Northern Ireland forever and the Catholic/nationalist community is outgrowing the loyalists.
/limerick/ reporting.
Anybody seen that irish short film about the guy who has learning difficulties and hes looking after a petrol station? Cant remember what its called but its brilliant

so is it a minority government of sorts, where no party was able to carry a majority so both parties sit in office, not agreeing on anything at all?
sometimes Canada has those too.
I would assume some sort of far right would exist in Ireland, due to their lack of intervention during ww2 against NAzi Germany, combined with generations of hostility towards their neighbours bred into them
also revolutionized Irish film making somehow
>>68682215
>not posting the name
fuck off retard
>>68682213
Yes, pretty much that, except the government hasn't come into office yet because the two parties have been in negotiations for the past three weeks with no progress.

We had pretty much no history of immigration until about twenty years ago. Also I think we're self aware enough to realise it would be ridiculous for the Irish to complain about immigration.
We actually leant towards the Allies as far as possible while maintaining our neutral status during WW2
The negotiations to form our next government our still ongoing.

Wow, I did not know that, out of all.the Oscar noms last year that was the only film I thought truly deserved it. Now I need to rewatch Garage
>>68682338
We have Identity Ireland, the most recent pop-up right wing party, very small, barely any following here.
>>68682213
>so is it a minority government of sorts, where no party was able to carry a majority so both parties sit in office, not agreeing on anything at all?
Basically this. No party has enough seats to form a majority, and no coalitions are willing to be formed so we're just sitting here without a government at the moment.
Most people are fairly xenophobic without outright being racist, although university students are utter multiculturist socially marxist cancer. We also don't have minority communities large enough to the point where they generate a significant amount of crime.
We are in grave danger of being enriched without actually being so yet. It all depends on whether Europe eventually cracks under the strain of the immigration and Muslim problem.

I think it might be due to an air of defeatism that has followed Ireland.
I mean no offense, but you were a territory of another nation for centuries, the lack of ability for the potato people to change their government or affect even local politics might've just ingrained defeatism and a lack of will to change their political scenario.
It would at least explain your current day situation.
