Anyone else incredibly bored by Marvel?
I don't even rate BvS but it was so refreshing to have capeshit that isn't muh quips and bright bullshit. There's just something very unappealing about Marvel and it doesn't hold my interest.

Why even compare?
They are entirely different
While the animations are a bit more "similar", the movies have an entirely different setting, DC is way more "serious" on topic than the Marvel movies
while in Marvel movies they sometimes spend a scene more on general entertainment with a joke for example they spend more scenes on building up tension and creating the right mood and storytelling

Not just good movies. Absolutely brilliant movies that will be considered classic films in 20 years. Up there with some of the greatest films of all time.
That's not how it works.
If I watch nothing but universally acclaimed movies and then decide to go against the grain and watch an absolutely shitty movie, it doesn't mean the shitty movie is magically good now.
