And I'm not even talking about her actually turning to the dark side, people just won't allow her to be a well written character with ups and downs.
They were too scared to take any risks with her character and give her actual character flaws in VII and it shows, but I also hope it changes sooner or later. That one interviews where Daisy said that "Rey will flirt with the dark side" and that "she's not a jedi" made me hopeful.
