I'm going to be honest, I can never tell which city we're at in American movies. Especially the overhead shots with the tall skycrapers I can't really distinguish, other than the area either being mountainous or near a river or the ocean is a giveaway. There's a lot of movies and shows that take place in Philadelphia - Fucking Silver Linings Playbook was just like a year or two ago and JLaw got an oscar for it. But on the list of America's most famous cities it would be in a tie for 8th with Seattle, and just above Portland. And besides its no longer relevant historical significance, now what it's mostly famous for is being a bunch of drunk trashy assholes and having shitty sports fans.
