I've never once heard this. Other season was 8 episodes too.
apparently doc ran out the budget for this season, everything is story boarded already and i think the VA work is done as well, they need to get the animation done though.
Holy shit, Venture Bros is still on air? I know they take long breaks, but this is just out of this world, man. Doesn't help that the show devolved into a lamo trendy "dramedy" about feelings like so many animated shows these days.
