Pearl Harbor is legit good. It got a ton of shit for having a love story but fuck that, Titanic had one too.
Also, the special effects were top tier, the deaths were sad as fuck, the characters were likable, and overall it was just a good drama.
I really hate that Pearl Harbor was critically panned.

You should say BvS is one of the best examples of of image over substance. It tries so hard to be taken seriously and hamfist all the symbolism possible but without having anything to back it up.
It's a mess in the editing room, and the pacing couldn't be worse, the characters are not interesting at all. And how a simple plot device like dreams is overused.
