A long time ago I used to emulate Andy Kaufman irl thinking I was being a literal comedic genius. Everyone thought I was retarded and my teacher told my mother that I might have autism. True story.
I loved Conan, around 98-06, I think. But then I stopped watching. I'm not even sure why. He just seemed to run out of steam? And then there was the fiasco with changing shows.
Nowadays I occasionally watch his videos on Youtube. Still somewhat funny, but his golden days have definitely passed.

Andy left the show some years earlier, and it was a quality drop, for a while. And I really like seeing him again, nowadays. But I'm not sure what happened back then, when I stopped watching. Might be a personal thing too.
And speaking of hosts changing shows, I used to watch Colbert too, but I just can't stand his new show. At all. None of the old energy seems to be present! I truly wonder if Colbert is miserable.
