Both are candidates for most underrated but certainly neither are the best that the Coens have to offer.
I think The Big Lebowski is the best Coen brother's movie. It's a clever twist on an old genre and endlessly watchable.

I didn't really appreciate the lead actor because his accent felt forced. I know his character is Irish but it felt like a foreign actor faking an early American accent. He was like Clive Owen in Sin City.
But Turturro was good and the movie itself was fantastic. I loved The Dane and his ultimate confrontation.
I'd say a serious man, but fargo has something so unique about it.

Barton Fink, followed by Miller's Crossing and The Big Memeowski. HMs for O Brother and No Country. Inside Llewyn was also pretty good.
Never liked Fargo much and don't care for the rest or haven't seen them in a long time.
Miller's Crossing is better than Barton Fink.
