Visuals were great, acting was meh but I think the visuals and story carried the bad acting well.

Some of the dialogue was weird and modernized, it felt off. It was okay, the source material is nothing amazing so it's not like there was much to butcher. Too clean though, it's obviously geared to teenage girls. Still don't know why they started with book two in the OT...
If they wanted a teen drama they could target at girls they should have done Word & Void.

Sword Trilogy is pretty boring. They probably skipped Sword since it's literally LOTR. If they stick around and make it to Heritage or Voyage it could be pretty good though.

I don't know about the books, never read them. In my opinion, there's fantasy story that deserves an adaptation more, like Temeraire. Napoleonic wars with dragons? Fucking all of my yes.
