In all honestly, Batman & Robin and Batman Forever are pretty entertaining movies if you watch it as a goofy movie with a grain of salt.

cinematography is very cartoony and beautiful
it really is it's own batman and great and stupid at the same time.

batman forever is an odd blend of the dark Burton movies and the colorful wackiness that batman and robin ended up being. you can somewhat take BF seriously and there is some hilarious acting from Carrey and TLJ. the key to watching batman and robin is: prepare to laugh. if you go into it expecting an off the wall comedy it isn't that bad, but most people didn't do that, which is why it gets trashed so often.
Plus you get to say "Bat girl?" it's more like "Fat girl!" during the entire movie.
