Just watched this, it was amazing. I have a few questions though:
What was the red cube thing that THX puts in the trash vacuum thing?
Why do some people have yellow or red clothes?
How did the hologram become human?
The robocops seemed to show some level of conscious reasoning at the end when they give THX one last chance even after they've been told to return to the facility. Is it possible that they're sentient? Or are they just very advanced AIs?
Is there actually anyone in behind the scenes controlling it all?
What do you think was outside?
What did you guys think of it?
>How did the hologram become human?
this fucking holonegro. what the fuck. I liked this film a lot and wished George would have made more sci fi but goddamn there were some serious red flags in this film

That part may have been a dream sequence
Directors cut is absolutely beautiful.
I remember watching it and being in awe of how a movie from the 70's/80's could look so fucking perfect. Then I found out george altered it.
Either way, I loved it.

The director's cut is not that different. Here is the comparison vid. Like edgy look to the original.

No idea. Was Lucas reading any books at the time? Funny that THX is the future and SW is the past...
Jim Henson later made a film called Cube, right?
Does anyone think Demolition Man or Fifth Element might be better satires?
