It starts out pretty bad ass... but becomes THE teenage girl show around season 6 or 7.
Literally, all the characters become mopey bitches.
It's pretty teenaged, but at tolerable levels. It's not the show Tumblr pretends it is. the first 5 seasons are sterling television, but then it gets into rocky territory. 10th & 11th seasons are pretty good.

Seasons 1-5 are great. It was an obscure macho bro-tier show.
Season 6+, Tumblr started seeping in.
Watch Seasons 1-5 and then stop. That's where the show was supposed to have ended but continued on for whatever reason. I haven't watched any after S5 so I can't comment on it's quality now.
What these peeps said. Season 1 is good. 2-5 approach kino at times. 6 was meh. Haven't watched past there yet. Also, you have to appreciate an element of cheese.

1-5 is pretty good, a few hit or miss episodes along the way. Avoid 6 onward, trust me.

Seasons 1-5 are great and form an excellent story arc
After that it becomes hit-and miss for a long while, but season 11 is almost back to form.
